Yoga and Meditation Retreat Day Trips

A guided walk through the forest near the yoga studio takes about 20 minutes. This tour will give you an introduction to the trails, and is a pre-requisite to future independent forest exploring. We live on the edge of wilderness, and invite you to experience this wonderful opportunity to stroll in our pristine natural environment with respect and care.

22 km (return) to the village of Hubbards, with many amenities, more beaches, restaurants, shopping, and lots more. En route, more beaches…;
52 km (very hilly) ride around the Aspotogan Peninsula, a popular undertaking for local ardent cyclists.

Some kayaking possibilities:

Guided Kayak Excursion $90 per person, min. 4. Four hour guided kayak tour from the Sail Loft or nearby launch point, including equipment and snack. This activity is subject to cancellation or re-scheduling in the unlikely case of high winds. One week advance reservation and payment required for rental.

Sailing possibilities:

We have been successful each year so far in convincing a friend nearby to take us on a three to four hour sailing excursion on St. Margaret’s Bay aboard Sea Wench. This activity is usually planned around weather and wind. Cost is by donation (we suggest $125 per person).
