Evening Classes


Regular classes are ongoing:
Tuesday, 6:15-7:30 p.m.


Join us in our yoga practice at the welcoming Sail Loft Studio, surrounded by spectacular views of the ocean and sky. Groups are small, and because of the rural location of the studio, we welcome all levels and abilities to each class. If you have issues that restrict your movements, or injuries that you are dealing with, feel free to call Cathy to talk about whether you would feel comfortable joining a class.

Morning Classes


Regular classes are ongoing:
Tuesday, 10-11:15 a.m.


You are welcome to join our yoga explorations on Thursday mornings. The class is often workshop-style, and encompasses a friendly group of long time Sail Loft devotees and drop-ins, including the "summer people", who we see year to year! Sometimes, we have a swim afterwards, except in the winter, when we arrange our mats around the wood stove!

Saturday Morning Open Studio


Saturday morning open studio,
January to May: 10 a.m.-noon.


Enjoy personal practice in the studio. Feeling you don’t know enough to practice without being directed? You’d be amazed at how much you’ll remember, and you may discover what your body is telling you it wants, if you slow down and listen. If Cathy is not able to be present, she will ensure that an experienced practitioner is there for some guidance. The cost is by donation, or by bringing wood for our woodstove.

Saturday Morning Meditation


Learn meditation skills by joining us on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. for half hour instruction/sitting practice at the Sail Loft Studio.


Following the meditation practice, 10-10:30 a.m. you are welcome to stay until noon for personal practice - yoga poses, more meditation - whatever your "practice" entails. Interested in learning more about meditation? Cathy would be delighted to come to a community centre, school, or meeting place to teach a session.

Yoga for Everyone


Yoga for Everyone at the Lion's Club, Tuesdays, 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. $2-$5 per session; and at the Blandford Community Centre, Fridays, 10-11 a.m. $7 per session.


Drop ins are welcome, but pre-registration is appreciated. Please spread the word! Cathy teaches yoga poses with chair support, so everyone can participate.No experience is necessary. Bring a mat if you have one. Call or write Cathy if you have questions, or would like to register (optional).



Last minute cancellations are posted on the Sail Loft Facebook page.
When the weather is bad, it is wise to check to see if the class is on.
